Senior Project Civil or Transportation Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Civil or Transportation Engineer to join our team for Street, Road, Highway, and Heavy Civil Construction. Ideal Construction Project Senior Project Civil or Transportation Engineer will have extensive experience in concrete construction, earthwork, asphalt pavement, RCP, and, however, not required experience with Traffic Signals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing field operations with subcontractors for civil projects and concrete flatwork. 4+ years’ experience with land development, stormwater, or municipal projects AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge and a PE license are preferred. Willing to travel within the Denver Metro Area, Colorado Springs, and Colorado Mountains Area.
Responsibilities
- Work on a major interstate highway road widening project.
- Spend approximately 70% of your time on-site during peak construction periods.
- Review project schedules and provide technical input to ensure production stays on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Procore items include, but are not limited to:
- It is 100% the PM’s responsibility to keep project information up to date and current for the duration of all projects in Procore.
- Manage and input all RFI’s, RFP’s, and Bulletins from start to finish so all questions have been answered.
- Drawings, Job Set Up Specifications, Submittals, RFI’s & RFP, Documents
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Civil or Transportation Engineer or similar role for 4+ years
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, and Bluebeam a plus
- Must be familiar with all Microsoft Office programs and bidding software.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- We are seeking an individual with 4+ years of experience in the Civil Construction industry.
- Must have excellent leadership skills, be a strong communicator, and have a “take ownership” attitude.
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of your time.
- Experience with construction management software such as PROCORE, and Bluebeam a plus

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in a field-related role in transportation, concrete construction, or heavy civil construction.

- Experience:
- Civil or Transportation Engineer: 4+ years Preferred in Roadway, Highway or Heavy Civil
- General Roadway, Highway, or Heavy Civil for 4+ years ideal
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Equivalent work experience will be considered

- Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year

- Employees working in this environment may be subject to evening, weekend, holiday, or on-call emergency shifts.
- Work hours primarily involve 8-hour shifts during weekdays.
- Approximately 90% performed in the field.
