Project Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Estimator to join our team for Street, Road & Highway Construction. The ideal candidate oversees and manages construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various costs for construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Experience with developing accurate & reliable estimates for earthwork projects.
Ability to understand plans & specifications to determine project requirements.
Ability to do takeoffs and project modeling to create detailed proposals.
Knowledge of construction & estimating software.
Clean Motor Vehicle R and respectable employment history.
Required to have 1 Foreman’s meeting per week to review current Schedule, RFI’s, Change Orders, and Issues (Via Zoom or in person).
Communicate with the Foreman daily to make sure that the Forman has all the information and answers to all his questions that arise.
Manage cost codes to ensure all tracking is up-to-date and accurate (if applicable to your projects)
Procore items include, but are not limited to:
- It is 100% the PM’s responsibility to keep project information up to date and current for the duration of all projects in Procore.
- Manage and input all RFIs, RFPs, and Bulletins from start to finish so all questions have been answered.
- Drawings, Job Set Up Specifications, Submittals, RFI’s & RFP, Documents

Skills

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role for 10+ years
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment
Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, or Primavera
Must be familiar with all Microsoft Office programs and bidding software.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
We are seeking an individual with 10+ years of experience in the construction industry.
Must have excellent leadership skills, be a strong communicator, and have a “take ownership” attitude.
Must be willing to travel up to 80% of your time.
Experience with construction management software such as ProCore, and Bluebeam a plus

Requirements

10+ years of estimating experience and/or street, road, and highway construction experience.
- Construction Project Estimator: 5+ years Preferred in Roadway, Highway, or Heavy Civil
- General Roadway, Highway, or Heavy Civil for 8+ years
Holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering or equivalent work experience will be considered.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Exceptional computer skills
Proficient in ProCore, MS Suite
Certificates, License, Registrations:
Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a safe driving record
Ability to analyze problems and create solutions that add value to the client and the company.

Other Details

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
