Heavy Equipment Operator
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our Street, Road, Highway, and Heavy Civil Construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for earth-moving operations with a variety of heavy equipment. This key role must be pushed to ensure construction projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
- Operates construction, excavation, and demolition equipment including excavators, front-end loaders, and skid steers.
- Ability to load dump trucks with broken concrete utilizing an excavator or front-end loader.
- The ability to break concrete with an excavator with the hydraulic breaker.
- Operate machinery used to build and/or demolish bridges, buildings, and highways.
- Inspects and fuels equipment before beginning shift.
- Communicate clearly with dispatches and supervisors
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report needed repairs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Road Rollers
- Skid Steer
- Front-end Loader
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Proficient in English
- Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.

Requirements
- Experience:
- Construction : 4+ years Preferred Equipment Operator
- General Roadway, Highway, or Heavy Civil for 2+ years as Heavy Equipment Operator
- Education:
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery.
- Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Must be able to operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a safe driving record
- Ability to analyze problems and create solutions that add value to the client and the company.

- Pay: $28 – $35 per hour
